The Samlex PSR-1200-48 is a 1200 watt pure sine wave inverter that converts 48 VDC to 120 VAC in a 19-inch, 1U rackmount enclosure. Built on the industry-proven Samlex PST Series core, it delivers clean, stable AC power to communications equipment and minimizes downtime caused by grid instability. Purpose-Built for Radio and Telecom Sites
This inverter runs off the 48 VDC plant that most communications sites already have in place, so it fits repeater sites, dispatch centers, public-safety shelters, and telecom racks without a separate power architecture. It supplies pure sine wave 120 VAC to sensitive gear that will not tolerate voltage irregularities, and its 1U footprint slots straight into a standard 19-inch rack alongside your radios and network hardware.
Remote Monitoring for Unmanned Sites
The PSR-1200-48 is designed to be watched from the NOC, not the tower base. It generates SNMP alarm traps for network monitoring, offers Ethernet webpage monitoring, and is configurable through the front panel, USB, or RS-232C. For remote and unmanned sites, that means you see a fault before it becomes an outage instead of finding out when a customer calls.
Automatic Transfer and Operating Modes
A built-in 16A automatic transfer switch hands the load between the AC grid input and the internal inverter. In Off-Line mode, the default, the load runs from the grid during normal operation and switches to inverter power when the grid fails. On-Line mode lets you run the load from the conditioned inverter output as the primary source. A Load Safe algorithm manages the load to protect the unit.
