The Motorola PMLN7188B is an ATEX-certified receive-only earpiece designed for discreet radio monitoring in hazardous working environments. It features a clear acoustic comfort tube, replaceable eartip and a standard 3.5 mm connector for use with compatible Motorola ATEX remote speaker microphones.
Incoming radio traffic is routed directly to the user’s ear, allowing messages to be heard clearly without broadcasting audio through the remote speaker microphone. The low-profile translucent tube is suitable for security, industrial, oil and gas, chemical processing and other applications where private receive audio and certified equipment are required.
The PMLN7188B is receive-only. It does not include a microphone, push-to-talk button or VOX capability. Transmission remains controlled through the connected remote speaker microphone or radio.
