The DuraComm IQ-4 smart charger battery backup silently monitors the standby battery terminal voltage and adjusts the DPS power supply output voltage in order to keep the battery fully charged without destructive overcharging. This battery backup is designed to charge the 13.8 VDC DuraComm DPS-15/30/45/55/75 power supplies. THE IQ-4 is to be used only when the dps is used as a battery charger.
