The Cambium C000065L007C is the LPU and Grounding Kit for Cambium PTP 650 and PTP 670 point-to-point wireless backhaul links. The kit supplies two lightning protection units (LPUs) and the complete grounding hardware needed to protect one end of a PTP link, including the outdoor radio (ODU) and the indoor LAN it feeds. This part replaces the earlier C000065L007B kit and is a direct, drop-in upgrade.

How Many Kits Do You Need
A complete PTP 650 or PTP 670 link has two ends, and Cambium specifies one LPU Kit per end. That means a full point-to-point link requires two C000065L007C kits total, one for each radio site. Each kit on its own protects a single ODU and the LAN behind it; it does not cover the far end of the link.
Why Lightning Protection Matters on PTP Links
PTP 650 and PTP 670 radios are typically mounted on rooftops, towers, or masts where the outdoor cable run is directly exposed to induced surge energy from nearby lightning strikes.
