I picked one up to test out with my XPR7550 radio and I couldn’t be happier.Rate this item
I wasn’t sure if it would work because of the inherent trade off you get when using a stubby antenna; range suffering for the sake of comfort and convenience. Boy was I surprised when I discovered I was getting the same range as my stock PMAE4079 whip antenna but without the risk of damaging the antenna when getting in and out of a vehicle or getting constantly poked in the back or side when moving around. I definitely recommend and will be swapping the rest of my radio system over. (Posted on 8/30/2023)
